Boston Red Sox and Major League Soccer Among the Winners of the 2008 Sports Business Awards

SportsBusiness Journal and SportsBusiness Daily honored eleven leaders representing the best in sports business at the inaugural Sports Business Awards on Thursday night, May 29th at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City.

Awards were presented in 11 categories.  Winners were chosen from more than 450 entries and 49 nominees.

The cermony has reached a sell-out as anticipation builds for the winner announcements at the Inaugural Sports Business Awards.
